Iyene is Archiet's application portfolio management and capability mapping product — a single inventory of every application your organization runs, mapped to the business capabilities it supports.
Iyene is the application portfolio management and capability mapping product inside Archiet. It gives a technology or architecture team one place to record every application in use, who owns each one, and which business capability it exists to support — replacing the spreadsheet most teams maintain for this today with a living, structured inventory.
What Iyene is for
Most organizations can answer "what applications do we run?" only approximately: partly in a spreadsheet, partly in someone's memory, partly out of date the moment it's written down. Iyene exists to make that answer current and queryable, so that questions like these have a real, sourced answer rather than a guess:
- Which applications support a given business capability, and is there overlap or redundancy?
- Who is accountable for a given application?
- What would be affected if a given application were retired or replaced?
